Why you enjoy doing what you are doing now?

As an experience designer, I enjoy understanding and solving users’ needs and wants in a digital or physical space. I get to combine research, technology, and design to create meaningful experiences.

What you have learned at FIT that have helped you get your career started?

The A&DD BFA program gives you a wide-range of skillsets that could be applied to different career paths. From every internship and interview I’ve gotten, everyone is always impressed that I can conceptually design, animate, prototype, and even code. Every class is catered towards your future in some way or another at FIT.

What’s the one advise that you would give to students pursuing a career in advertising and digital design?

The world is your oyster with the A&DD major as the program allows you to try out so many roles. I’ve interned as a graphic designer and as an art director during my summers and now I’m an experience designer. I wouldn’t have had as many doors open for me or know what I wanted to be if it wasn’t for this program.
